My babies are two today!
It seems like just yesterday they were tiny and cute. Now they’re large and gorgeous.
Cawti is a happy photo model. Such an amiable cat: take her picture, snuggle her upside-down, rub her tummy, it’s all good. And gorgeous to boot.
Such stripes. She’s curled up against my ankles as I write this, having finally been persuaded that cuddling her like a baby is not conducive to working on the laptop. It took a lot of persuading.
Norathar is a bit more skeptical of everything.
She’d rather perch on top of the tallest bit of furniture and keep an eye on everything. She’s still the boldest, and has been from the minute she emerged first from the cat carrier.
I had a hard time getting a good photo of her, because she was much more interested in checking out the noise-making camera than sitting still and being photographed. If my lens focused at two inches I’d have some lovely pictures of cat eye and paw.
It is not Trygvi’s birthday (though for all I know it is, but we celebrate Boxer Acquisition Day in September instead), but he hates being photographed. Nearly all my pictures of him were taken with the iPad because it’s stealthy and quiet, and even then if he thinks I might be taking pictures he scampers. So this boxer photo is an unusual occurrence.
The weather was lovely today. I did some spring cleaning and organization, but also took time this afternoon to go outside. I cleaned up the garden beds and planted peas and spinach. So satisfying.

Two such beautiful girls! The boxer photo is most excellent–he has such a rubbery face. :)
They are such beauties!
