It’s not Thursday

Okay already! It’s not next Thursday yet, so all these photos I took last Thursday aren’t obsolete.

Last week’s photo scavenger hunt topics were:
Wood that’s been worked
Fluorescence
Clothes that clash
Geometry
Black & white
Looks fast standing still

I mentioned to Tamie as I was leaving work, and there was nothing for it but that we find all the things in her office.

Wood that’s been worked

A1-wood

Fluorescence

A2-fluor

Clothes that clash

A3-clash

(Yes, we had to dress the M. But really, a blue M clashes with anything he’s wearing, including the shoes.)

Geometry

A4-geom

Black & white

A5-bw

Looks fast standing still

A6-fast

Then I did a second set while walking home.

Wood that’s been worked

B1-wood1

(In my office, not seen as I was walking home. I did not break into other people’s offices in search of things. Honest.)

Fluorescence

B2-fluor

Clothes that clash

B3-clash

(Clashing with itself counts, right?)

Geometry

B4-geom

Black & white

B5-bw

(I don’t think I’ve mentioned my dislike for this camera yet this week. This was to be a perfectly reasonable photo of black bench and white flowers, but NOTHING is in focus. Although that’s the only real failure out of this batch.)

Looks fast standing still

B6-fast

Just in time for tomorrow! (And do check out everyone’s photos.)

I love that little bunny in the last shot! He may end up my as my new desktop.

Perfect timing. I usually get the north end going south as it hops away from me.

*sigh* That’s what I get for trying to make sure the artist was credited.

Wendy, I think he’s terribly cute. You (and anyone) can get larger versions from the linked Flickr page. You probably already knew that, but not all my photos are linked to Flickr, so I thought I’d point it out.

Very nice! I like your geometric curves, but since I had a similar shot a few weeks ago you know I’m a sucker for pics like that. :)

This time of year town and campus are flooded with young and stupid rabbits. If Grendel weren’t so oblivious, he’d be stuffed full of bunnychops.

Jeri, thanks! That’s the big spherical sundial in front of the admin building. I like science toys like that. :)
