Scavenger Hunt

Michelle has been putting together a Thursday Photo Challenge for the past few weeks: a list of things to hunt down and record. I found everything last week, but didn’t have a camera with me. That would make for a boring post, so I didn’t. (Except eating a pink flower and standing on a park bench were both rather fun.)

This week I managed the confluence of camera AND fresh batteries. Or at least, something that claims to be a camera: it’s a HP CB350 and I hate it. A lot. I thought I liked it for about ten minutes right after I got it, but I was wrong. I tracked down everything on the list on my walk to work this morning.

    HUZZAH!

I got a couple of mine on my lunchtime walk–including the purple clothing. And I actually walked up to someone and asked if I could take their picture!

I’m actually enjoying this more than I thought I would. :) And I’m really glad other people want to play!

I forgot–what is the still water picture? It looks like a mat of some sort, but I can’t figure it out.

Ah. :) That’s my umbrella. I figured by the time the raindrops intercepted it, they were no longer moving.

It’s fun; thank you for providing the motivating force!

I kind of liked your first week’s approach – I think I’m going to combine next week, some experiencing/playing and some photography. :D

It was rather fun. I need to take a friend along so I can have photography OF me playing. :) My personal version of the challenge is to find a creative/unusual way to identify or interact with the thing: eating a pink flower; photographing purple clothing on a child in a mural.
