Studio Day

Saturday morning when I let the dog out it was -15F outside my front door. That sort of weather makes me want to huddle under mounds of blankets, and knit warm cozy things from wool. And that’s just what I’ve been doing.

I started a couple of blog articles, but haven’t gotten them finished. I haven’t photographed the new knitting (but I did finish it). I’m trying to get the big stuff under control first, and that has led to neglecting the blog a bit. Sorry.

I have today off, and will be spending it in the studio. I have some boring time to spend skeining, doing inventory – all the minutia of owning even an infinitesimal business – but also some plotting and planning to do. I realize that I’ve started a trend of dropping hints, mentioning unfinished projects, and never following through with finished photos and descriptions. I have a vast collection of partly-written blog posts. Some of those are even just collections of wordless photographs. One of my goals for the year is to do better at that.

But not, I’m afraid, today. Today I’m just contributing to the problem.

Hope you had some quality studio time! And a healthy bout of cozy knitting, too. :)
