And string, but did I really need to even say that? And here it is spring already, and there are beginning to be flowers, so I finally ordered it, and it arrived yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>In the pouring rain, and sleet, and freezing rain, accompanied by a bit of snow. No outdoor photography for me. I consoled myself with photographing string instead (click for big).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/silka20110323_lrg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/silka20110323.jpg\" alt=\"dyed silk\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><lj-cut><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/silkb20110323_lrg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/silkb20110323.jpg\" alt=\"dyed silk\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s the silk I dyed earlier this week. With all the rain it wasn&#8217;t quite dry enough to ship off. It looks a lot better now, doesn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/knit20110323_lrg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/knit20110323.jpg\" alt=\"sock close-up\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Socks I&#8217;ve been working on for ages, in yarn I dyed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/tw20110323_lrg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2011\/tw20110323.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tablet weaving I&#8217;ve been working on for even longer, also in yarn I dyed.<\/p>\n<p>I should mention that these were all under crappy lighting (my office is very poorly lit) with flash. Not too bad!
