Regular updates shall resume once I recover from the Middle Ages. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2\/pennsic20090805.jpg\" alt=\"Pennsic 2009\" \/><\/p>\n<p>My mother&#8217;s birthday present was off the loom, fringed, washed and mailed in time to arrive <i>before<\/i> her birthday. This is nothing short of miraculous, I&#8217;ll have you know. She claims to love it. It&#8217;s rayon, with a dyed warp, and is 2 yards long, with fringe on the ends. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2\/scarf20090805.jpg\" alt=\"Finished scarf\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the first piece to come off the rigid heddle loom she <a href=\"https:\/\/stringpage.com\/blog\/?p=266\">found for me<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>And finally, this is the first year I&#8217;ve gotten a decent crop off of the raspberries I planted <a href=\"https:\/\/stringpage.com\/blog\/?p=7\">two years ago<\/a>, just after I&#8217;d started blogging. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stringpage.com\/blog\/photos2\/berrries20090805.jpg\" alt=\"Raspberries\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve spent most of the week here, and will be returning shortly.
