(If anyone is somehow unsure, I agree with <a href=\"https:\/\/whatever.scalzi.com\/2008\/11\/02\/just-to-make-things-official-about-this-election\/\">John Scalzi<\/a>, but he said it more eloquently, and at greater length.)<\/p>\n<p>I waited nearly an hour, first thing this morning. Knitting, and doing some reading. My county uses touchscreen machines, but nonetheless we had only scantron ballots at my precinct. The electronic machines may be flawed, but they are fast. In an hour and a quarter of voting, only 80 people had made it through. <\/p>\n<p>At least there were cookies.<\/p>\n<p>I will probably be glued to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/\">CNN<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fivethirtyeight.com\/\">FiveThirtyEight<\/a> for the rest of the day, but maybe after that we can get back to some string around here! <\/p>\n<p>Well, except for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nanowrimo.org\">NaNo<\/a>.
