\nHe and a bunch of FB commenters were bemoaning how slow and tedious and frustrating warping is, and that makes me sad!<\/p>\n
People who really don\u2019t enjoy the setup process won\u2019t do the art. But warping doesn\u2019t have to be dismal! Efficient setup is a combination of equipment, experience, and knowing the tricks, and I can teach two of those. <\/p>\n
I needed a couple of warps, so I timed myself. The first one, a two-yard warp with twenty tablets, took me eleven minutes. The second one is more complicated and longer, and took twenty-three. Total time, just over half an hour, including trying to figure out where I\u2019d set my scissors. <\/p>\n
They\u2019re chained rather than on a loom, sure, but that\u2019s easy enough, and if I were using an inkle loom I\u2019d be completely done. Clearly I need to put a class together. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
