Since I didn’t get any pictures of myself at the demo, I made sure to get a few this past weekend.
I’m about to lose my veil!
I think this may be the best photo of Grendel I’ve ever taken.
I didn’t get it in time for last weekend’s trip, as the car place decided they should do the annual state inspection and an oil change for me, and then didn’t get it done on time. Hard to complain, really, as I got free service out of it. But I now have it: my new 5-year-old Forester! I adore my Prizm, and it’s been better than I ever expected, but it’s 19 years old, and small. The Forester will be so much better for camping.
I had a couple of questions on the sprang sashes. I will be writing more about the process of setting up a smooth warp, along with other procedural things.

Great Photos!
And congrats on the shiny new vehicle in the driveway! My brother has a Forester–loves it!
Shiny new-to-you car! Blue cars are the best!
And I’m glad to hear that your Prizm lasted 19 years; we just acquired a 14 year old one as a stop-gap until my car is mostly paid off and we can buy a newer car for my husband.
ooh, I like your garb! Very nice. :-)
Grendel looks so happy; that is a very nice shot of him. :) And congratulations on the new car!
The best dog thing ever is Going Places with the Pack. Especially if those places have people who will tell him he’s a pretty boy, pet him, and slip him pieces of meat. *grin*
Jen, thanks! I’m gradually replacing the stuff I’ve had forever with wool or linen, with the visible seams handsewn. Older stuff in good shape is given to new people. And nothing beats a long linen veil for summer wear – keeps the sun off, and helps me stay cool. I wish they were regular streetwear.

Yay! They were both from me. I just had a brain-toot and used my Gamer handle on one of the posts.
