Stringpage Supplies is devoted to all the other fiber arts. There are zillions of sites devoted to knitting, and plenty of places for the loom weaver to find yarn by the cone, but what about the braider, the tablet weaver, the inkle weaver? We feature high-quality yarns in small quantities - the silk, linen, wool and cotton that you've been looking for, and the equipment you need. Yarns are put up on 100-yard bobbins to make it easy to warp or measure from them (even continuous-warp tablet weaving).
Our standard line of solid colored silk and wool is dyed with Lanaset dyes, the most color-fast we've found. Sock yarns are hand-dyed with acid dyes. Some irregularity in the color within a skein is part of the process. Some colors may bleed a bit if washed in hot water. We try very hard to make sure this won't happen, but please be careful with the dyed items, and wash in cold if necessary. The linen is commercially-dyed.
