SCA Music

This month's topic is SCA music- not necessarily medieval music, but "perioid" music, filk, folk music... the kinds of things we like to listen to around a campfire. Mostly these sites only have lyrics, so you need to find someone who knows the tunes, but at least one has audio clips! I also included some web information on being a bard in the SCA, and some sites which have material other than songs for us vocally-challenged. Enjoy!

SCA Minstrel Homepage
Performing arts information of (nearly) all sorts, period and not.

Cantaria
An archive of music from the Middle Ages (including the Current Middle Ages). Not only does this site have lyrics, it has audio clips and historical information.

Folk, medieval and contemporary music

Master Efenwealt Wystle
I'm not sure there _are_ any lyrics here, but there is plenty of information about being a bard in the SCA. Warning: OBNOXIOUS!

Textfiles
This is a mixed bag- there are plenty of SCA-related song lyrics here, and even more other random things.

The Black Book of Locksley
Perhaps the oldest and largest collection of SCA music & stuff.

The Calontir Songbook
With plenty of non-kindom specific material.
