As our ewes prepare for birth and soft rains replace the snows, the Shire of Nithgaard invites you to join them for a celebration of the coming of spring. We will gather at the Centre Hall, PA Lions Club for a day of friendship and revelry. The day will feature indoor games, a dayboard and (dependent on the weather) outdoor martial activities. THL Hengist Gromhydig the Saxon will be preparing a 15th century English feast for 50 gentles.
The site (Centre Hall Lions Club, 153 E. Church St., Centre Hall, PA 16828) opens Saturday, Feb 23 at 10am and will close at 10pm. Candles are permitted for feast and the site is discreetly damp. Site fees (which include the dayboard) are $8 for adult, half price for Children (6-12) and Free for Children 5 and under. Per Corporate Policy a $3 Non-Member Surcharge will be collected at the door. Cost for Feast will be $8.
